Melissa Seilhan, a Holistic Cancer Coach and owner/operator of The Little Wellness Room in Jennings Louisiana, knows firsthand what it feels like to face fear and uncertainty after a cancer diagnosis. In 2023, Melissa discovered a lump on her breast and chose a path of natural healing over conventional chemotherapy and radiation. With seven children, four grandchildren, and more on the way, her “why” was clear: she wanted to live, heal, and be fully present for her family.

Today, Melissa is cancer-free, feeling great and helps others navigate their own health journeys, whether they are seeking prevention, support during conventional cancer treatment, or a fully holistic path.

Melissa’s Training and Certifications for Holistic Cancer Support

Melissa’s journey into cancer coaching began with self-study and quickly grew into a professional calling. Along the way, she gained knowledge and certifications from respected organizations:

  • Conquering Cancer – Melissa began with their masterclass series, learning foundational holistic cancer strategies. Today, she has come full circle, working with Conquering Cancer as an online coach.

  • BeatCancer.org – A nonprofit dedicated to holistic, integrative cancer support. Melissa became a Certified Holistic Cancer Coach through their intensive program after being encouraged by her nurse practitioner mentor.

Through these trainings and lived experience, Melissa combines evidence-based natural strategies with compassionate coaching, walking alongside clients in the way she wished someone could have done for her.
