Texas Vision Therapy

Dr. Justin Chelette OD, FAAO

Dr. Chelette, with residency training in vision therapy and visual rehabilitation and a board-certified fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry, is nationally recognized for his work. He has shared his expertise at the university level, teaching optometry students.

Graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in French and Biology, Dr. Chelette excelled in his optometric education at Nova Southeastern University. Salutatorian of his class, he completed an accredited residency through the University of Incarnate Word - Rosenberg School of Optometry. Later, he served as an assistant professor at the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Optometry. In 2022, upon returning to Houston, he joined the University of Houston College of Optometry as an adjunct faculty member while establishing Texas Vision Therapy. Dr. Chelette's approach at Texas Vision Therapy is personalized, aiming not just for "eye exercises" but to enhance vision and, consequently, improve lives.
